3 Steps to a Better 2023

Are you dangerous? Are you a FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH?

Should “the way things are” be afraid of you and the hunger and desperation you have to make next year not a repeat of this year?

Which scares you more attacking your future with a hunger for change or staying the way you are? Are you daring to believe next year can be better than this year or just hoping for nothing to make it worse?

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

The greatest theft we will ever experience is not losing what we already have. It’s not getting what God wants us to have.

Here’s a powerful but dangerous prayer!

“God, I don’t want anything you don’t want me to have. But, I want everything you want me to have.“

3 Steps to Get More of What’s Yours in 2023:

1. Own that you want something and then ask God for what you want.

Mark 10:51 - And answering him, Jesus said, “What do you want Me to do for you?”And the blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, I want to regain my sight!”

It takes faith and courage to admit that you want something and then to ask for it. It hurts more to hope for and anticipate an outcome that doesn’t happen. But if we don’t identify and go after what we want, it’s not likely to be what we get.

2. Identify ONE THING you could do consistently to move you toward what you want.

Philippians 3:13 - Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead.

What one thing could you do every day that will have the most life-wide impact over the next few weeks and months?

3. Focus on your routine not results.

Galatians 6:7 - Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.

Monitor and manage the lead indicators. If you do, the lag indicators will takecare of themselves.

Lag Indicators - the end result that you were hoping to achieve.

Lead Indicators - the actions that produce the end result you want.

Heavenly Father, have mercy on us and give us the grace to do what we need to do to make next year everything You want it to be.
